Two-tone kitchens are becoming more mainstream. 10 years ago, these visually stunning kitchens were the domain of only the highest-end kitchens. Today we are seeing them become more common in many of our projects.

Typically, we’ll change the color of the island to complement the finish of the perimeter cabinets. We also will use the accent color for Butler Pantry cabinetry or adjacent built-ins that are a part of the kitchen or an adjacent room.

The challenge is to find a countertop material that marries the two colors together.
