Face frames run roughly 1⅛ inches thick, noticeably heavier than AnnTucker's construction, and the finish system is engineered to move with the wood instead of against it, so painted joints resist cracking as the cabinets age. Design-wise, arched doors, fully custom colors, and specialty finishes, including automotive-style metallic paint, all become possible.
